As one of the world's top ten art parks, 798 Art District is located in the factory areas of the former state-owned 798 factory and other electronics factories in the past, covering an area of 300,000 square meters, and retaining the largest group of Bauhaus building in Asia, which was designed by East Germany in 1950s. 798 Art District now has hundreds of art and design oriented institutions, international art institutions and artists' studios. Besides, thousands of cultural and artistic activities held in 798 Art District per year, including exhibitions for art masters like Picasso, Andy Warhol and Morandi etc..
